Our Story
After some time overseas, we were drawn back home by East Lothian’s coastline, charm and sense of community. Hame is our way of sharing that feeling with others.
Every property we manage is one we’d happily stay in ourselves. Every detail, from how a property is presented to how a guest is welcomed, reflects our experience as travellers, hosts, and locals. Whether a guest is visiting family, exploring Scotland, or taking time to slow down, we want them to feel at ease, well looked after, and part of something quietly special.
Hame combines professional property management with curated guest experiences with a focus on what makes a stay memorable. From licensing and maintenance to interiors and guest care, we handle every detail with a personal touch and a local’s eye for excellence.

Meet The Hosts
We’re Amy and Charlie, the husband-and-wife team behind Hame, and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to manage and market a collection of beautiful homes across Scotland.
Based in East Lothian, we feel lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world - and love sharing it with our guests.
Amy
Amy began her career as a Chartered Surveyor in residential development, building a strong foundation in property and valuation. She later worked in the luxury short-term rental sector, helping to scale a high-growth hospitality start-up in the US. There, she developed a sharp eye for value creation and curating beautiful spaces.
At Hame, Amy combines her professional expertise, passion for property, and love for Scotland. Outside of work, she’s happiest hiking, swimming in open water, or riding horses - and above all, spending time with her family.
Charlie is a Chartered Surveyor with a background in commercial property. He began his career in Scotland before moving to the Philippines where he worked on real estate transactions across Southeast Asia. Charlie combines an analytical mind with an easy, approachable manner.
At Hame, he draws on his global experience and people-centric approach to manage properties that deliver exceptional results and guest satisfaction. Outside work, he enjoys padel, tennis, golf, cricket and running - and is always in search of great food shared with good company.
